The Freiberger Mulde meanders wildly from Moldava in the Czech Republic through the Ore Mountains to Sermuth in the Leipzig lowlands.

The Freiberger Mulde meanders wildly and romantically from Moldava in the Czech Republic through the Erzgebirge mountains to Sermuth in the Leipzig lowlands. However, the spring of the Freiberg Mulde is not far away in the Czech Moldava in the Bohemian Ore Mountains. You should not miss a trip to the spring. You can enjoy the breeze on the route downhill between green fir forests and past wide meadows. At Rechenberg-Bienenmühl, there are a few small climbs to overcome before the ride continues towards Freiberg. After another 50 kilometers of exciting discoveries, you reach Döbeln. Afterward, the cycle path leads along the river bank through a varied landscape past majestic castles and palaces. Due to its hilly relief, the Mulde cycling path along the Freiberger Mulde is suitable for cyclists with a high fitness level.
