The tour starts at the Schöneck Tourist Information. From here you drive into the kiln area and continue via the former sawmill, keep left on the path, first cross the railway tracks and then the road towards Muldenberg. After a few crossings and a small ascent, you will reach a wooden hut that is ideal for a first rest. Continue to the right of the hut on the Musikantensteig to Grünbach. The Rehhübelfelsen is about halfway along the path, followed shortly by the small and large Affenstein. An information board gives a good overview and the rock is also easily accessible. And we've already reached Grünbach. We follow the street for a short distance, turn right and are at our first stop, the "Bayerischer Hof" Grünbach. We continue on the old Muldenberger Straße, past a small pond belonging to the fishing association to Muldenberg. On this piece there is a small climb, but this can be bypassed on the path that turns left. You reach the new Muldenberger Straße, drive a little bit to the left of the street, before you cross the level crossing and turn right opposite the "Haus Muldenberg" restaurant. The path is located directly on the raft ditch, where the wood used to be transported by water. We follow this to the rafting site, where some of the history of rafting is explained. We continue up the road to the right, after about 100m you will find a small place on the left with a raft to try for yourself, diagonally opposite is the Bergschlösschen restaurant. Opposite here, our cycle path turns left into "Talsperrestraße" and leads us directly to the Muldenberg dam. The dam wall can be walked on and offers a great view of the reflecting water surface and the Muldenberg bathing pond. This is only a stone's throw away from here and invites you to cool off a bit. Opposite is the "Flößerstube" restaurant. After a long break, the path leads us along the blue markings back to Schöneck, where we arrive at the sawmill and kiln again.
